Falling...

Falling into the darkness..I see no time or space
just eery quiet blackness..
falling there's no place
to see or to hang onto
the falling never ends
I suddenly reach the landing
the pain it does not end
shoots all across the foot and leg
I hear the bones go pop
I wonder how I got to here
this darkness doesn't stop
no one here to help me up
just laying on the ground
I climb up to a small light
shining down the hall
I cry out, can anyone help?
Can anyone help me from the fall? Written by me the week after I broke my leg.
